REKALLD Terms of Service

Effective Date: [not yet in force]
Last Updated: 2026-08-05

DRAFT STUB — pre-launch. This is a placeholder assembled from our standard disclaimers and has not been reviewed by counsel. It is not a final agreement. Do not rely on it.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using REKALLD (the “Services”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. What the Services do

REKALLD lets you catalog items you own and notifies you when a published federal recall appears to cover one of them, and offers related organizational tools such as warranty tracking and document storage. The Services republish public recall information for informational purposes only.

3. No safety guarantee; not government-affiliated

REKALLD is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by NHTSA, CPSC, or any government agency. Recall data is republished from public federal sources and may be incomplete, delayed, or superseded — always confirm with the manufacturer or the agency. A “no recalls found” result means we found no matching record; it is not a certification that a product is safe. We do not know whether a repair has been performed on any specific unit.

4. Warranties and claim letters

Warranty terms shown are user-entered or estimated from manufacturer defaults and are not a substitute for the actual warranty document. Claim-letter templates are drafting aids, not legal advice.

5. Your account and content

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for activity under your account. You retain ownership of the content you upload; you grant us the rights needed to operate the Services. Your use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Services, attempt to access data belonging to other households, scrape at a scale that degrades the Services, or use them for any unlawful purpose.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Services are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, REKALLD is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services or from reliance on recall information.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Services or by email, and the “Last Updated” date will be revised.
