How REKALLD works
You tell us what you own — vehicles, appliances, tools, car seats, whatever. We normalize the identifiers (VIN, model number, UPC) and watch the federal recall corpus. When a new recall covers something on your list, you hear about it.
The rule we build on
We never tell you something is recalled unless we can point to the exact words in the agency’s own record that justify it. Every confirmed match carries the verbatim text from the source notice — the campaign number, the hazard, the remedy — quoted, not paraphrased, with a link back to the agency. A match we can’t evidence is a match we don’t make. A false alarm is worse than no product.
What it costs
Nothing. REKALLD is free — recall monitoring and email alerts for every item, plus warranty tracking, a document vault, and household sharing. We do not paywall a safety notice, and there is no paid tier holding back the rest.
What it is not
REKALLD is not a government service and is not affiliated with NHTSA or CPSC. Recall data is republished from public federal sources and can be incomplete or delayed. A “no recalls found” result means we found no matching record — it is not a certification that a product is safe. Always confirm with the manufacturer or the agency.
