Marshall Group Recalls Marshall Gardens PatioGlo Bio-Fuel Gel Due to Burn Hazard

CPSC · 12007 · published 2011-10-11

CPSC campaign 12007

Hazard

The pourable gel fuel can ignite unexpectedly to the consumer and expel onto people and objects nearby when it is poured into a firepot that is still burning. This hazard can occur if the consumer does not see the flame or is not aware that the firepot is still ignited. Gel fuel that expels and ignites can pose fire and burn risks to consumers that can be fatal.

Remedy

Consumers should immediately stop using the pourable gel fuel in firepots and return all bottles to the company for a full refund.
